Dr. Raynaldo (Rudi) Rodriguez practiced Emergency Medicine for over 20 years and was residency trained at the University of California at San Francisco. He completed a Fellowship in Primary Sports Medicine at the University of California in San Diego and certified In Age Management Medicine. In addition to his Emergency Medicine practice as Director of Emergency Medicine Services, he worked in the Department 0f Orthopedics of Patuxent Medical Group.

Senior Advisor Chair

Tatiana J Klein teaches at the Key School. Mrs. Klein has a Bachelor of Music, Cum Laude, from Duquesne University, an Artist Diploma from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University and a Master’s Degree in Science from Johns Hopkins University combining Educational Leadership and Mind, Brain and Teaching (Neuroscience applied to teaching). Mrs. Klein has worked with after school programs as a volunteer for many years and coordinates the Neighborhood Academy program of the Leadership Anne Arundel. In her spare time, she plays flute.

​​CDR Thomas Wagener, USN, Ph.D. is a permanent military professor and chair of the Languages and Cultures Department at the U.S.Naval Academy.

Secretary of the Board

Luis Carrasco is the Managing Partner of CNC Accounting Services, a small accounting firm in Annapolis, Maryland. Recently, Luis was the Senior Partner at Carrasco, Donnelly & Palmore Accounting Group, Inc. from 2010 to 2015. Luis holds a Master’s degree in International Management and an Undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland.

Luis Carrasco has been in the accounting field since 1994 and has worked in Director of Finance and Controllership roles throughout his career, holding management positions at Branch and Regional levels. 

Treasurer of the Board

Mark J. Hoffmann has 20 years banking and retail executive leadership experience. He currently manages multiple locations in Annapolis, AA County, as a VP for Capital One Bank. Areas of expertise are small business lending, credit, and managing cash flow. He has also served as a multi-unit leader and Store Director for national retailers JC Penney and Circuit City. Mark has worked with the Center since 2014. He enjoys being involved in and working to give back to the local community. He and his family are long-term residents of Annapolis.

Waleska Casiano started her career as an Attorney for the General Services Administration (GSA) in Puerto Rico as the Director of the Legal Office. In November 2013, she opened her private practice as an immigration attorney in Crofton, Maryland. She works with the Hispanic community in Maryland. Also, Waleska became a board member for the Center of Help, a non-profit organization to help the immigrant community in Anne Arundel County. She offers free consultations once a month.

​​Roxana Rodriguez is the owner of Caliente Grill in Annapolis and the Hispanic Liaison for the City of Annapolis. Ms. Rodriguez is fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish, along with having an extensive knowledge of the public school system education and the opportunities for students’ achievements.

Board Member

Deborah Furey is Senior Vice President for Solutions within the MD-based analytics team. She is responsible for building solutions and overseeing delivery for clients across key industries such as Healthcare. Prior to C2G, Deborah worked at Wunderman Health as SVP of Strategy & Analytics in the agency group. Before Wunderman, she worked at Merkle, Inc. for eight years, leading the strategy team in the Healthcare vertical. She has a Masters degree in Education from Harvard University with a major in technology-enabled education and a minor in human cognitive development. Deborah loves to ski, actively work as a fine artist (painter), and volunteers at the Children’s Theater of Annapolis as a set designer. She lives near Annapolis in Maryland with her husband and daughter. Deborah also has another daughter who is a sophomore at University of Maryland, College Park.
